Researcher Support

BCNAR provides support for researchers through various avenues.

Researchers are able to access regionally-based support for the preparation of grant applications through their Regional Co-Leader, Research Liaison Officer and the Network Coordinator.

The Network where approriate, provides individual researchers/teams with recommendations for specific support that might be available from a  funding agency, government agency, health authority or private partnership.

The Network’s “Expert Resource Database” a list of persons with specialized research expertise, such as specific research methodology, statistics, etc, provides a growing clearing house of “people-resources” for members developing new research teams and preparing grant applications.

Supports the development of interdisciplinary research teams and collaborations through its support and sponsorship of conferences, meetings, and other forums.
