BCNAR is committed to supporting students who are involved in aging research during their graduate student training. The network continues to develop new and innovative training and mentoring initiatives such as, the BC Student Training in Aging Research (STAR).

A Data Collection Award program to support data collection for Doctoral dissertation or Master’s thesis or graduating project.

An intensive training program focused on the development of research skills.

BCNAR will host capacity building events at each BC University to provide the opportunity for students interested in doing aging research to learn about the Network, what it can do for students, and the resources and opportunities for aging research at their university and in the province.
